Healthy eating when you haven’t had time to pack a good lunch is very important to us at Well TO Do (and happens more often than we care to admit!). Below is our round-up of our favourite spots in Toronto’s PATH – please let us know if we have missed any in the comments below!
IQ Food Co. is a staple for us at Well TO Do – they offer healthy boxes that we keep coming back to again and again (for Eme, the Lima and for Erin, the Sparta) as well as seasonal specials (the 100K is amazing!) that leave us full and satisfied. IQ sources its ingredients locally in Ontario and creates flavor combinations that are guaranteed to leave even picky eaters satisfied. They also serve our favorite Greenhouse juices and probiotics.
Their mission is to create restaurant spaces that celebrate health and wellness, while showing an appreciation for thoughtful design. They are located throughout the Toronto financial district – First Canadian Place (100 King Street West), TD Centre (100 Wellington Street West), Brookfield Place (181 Bay Street) and 18 York (18 York Street).
Crave has three locations that serve up everything from zoodles (in one of their yummy, steamed lunch boxes) to kimchi (in one of their equally delicious and cool lunch boxes). We love the variety of different cuisine influences that make a big impact in every box, while staying true to healthy, nutritious ingredients.
Crave serves field-to-fork fast food (a mouthful, we know). In every bite, you’ll be sinking your teeth into the traditionally dominant flavours of the foreign cuisine you crave, complemented by the healthful elements you need. Crave can be found in the Richmond-Adelaide Centre (120 Adelaide Street West), 145 King and the TD Centre (66 Wellington Street West).
K&K serves incredibly delicious vegan lunch boxes (and breakfast quinoa!!) that make even the diehard carnivore forget that the boxes don’t include any meat. We love their lemon tahini sauce and homemade hot sauce and wish we could put it on everything, and not just on the amazing K&K Paleo salad.
K&K makes delicious, sustainable and minimally processed fare. They make almost everything in-house from scratch, including sauces, nut & seed butters, pickles and baked goods. Check them out in First Canadian Place (100 King Street West), Brookfield Place (181 Bay Street), Metro Centre (200 Wellington Street West) and Sun Life Financial Tower (150 King Street West).
Stepping into Belmonte Raw, you are greeted by a beautiful and colorful wall of juices, ranging from Calm (a “gentle” green juice – the pineapple and mint make it very palatable) to the AntiOx Smoothie (the most delicious blueberry smoothie we have ever had).
Belmonte Raw serves nutritious whole foods and juices because they’ve experienced the results: more energy, glowing skin, sharper thinking…total radiance from the inside out. Their cleanses, juices, and raw food provide you with the nourishment you need to feel happy and revitalized. Drink up at the Exchange Tower (130 King Street West).
While we haven’t tried many of the items at this relatively new addition to the PATH, we love The Mixer – a rich and filling smoothie with pineapple, kale, red apple, cucumber, avocado and almond milk – it left us feeling refreshed for hours! We can’t wait to go back and try one of their acai bowls.
OJ’s mission is to provide high-quality, 100% organic and great-tasting healthy alternatives to mainstream fast food for health-conscious individuals. Find their 100% organic acai bowls, smoothies and more at 120 Adelaide Street West.
